Willy "Nature Boy" Syndram
Three time AT thru-hiker and world traveler extraordinaire Nature Boy has a profound love of wilderness and hiking. His
hikes have taken him from the glaciers of Denali to the cloud forests of Peru. He has hiked in blizzards and through swamps, alone and in groups, and literally for thousands upon thousands of miles. In addition to hiking he enjoys running ultra marathons such as the Pinhote 100 and the GUTS Reactor Run (GRR) 100 miler. He recently finished 3rd overall in the GRR through a pouring rain storm that persisted through the entire event. In May 2011 Nature Boy embarks on an attempt to break the unsupported thru hike record on the Appalachian Trail by hiking the 2,181 mile AT in 60 days or less. A few words from Nature Boy...
A few days ago I received my pack from Matthew at Elemental Horizons.
He has been working with me for a while to create the perfect pack for
me. He used bomber grade material so that I could focus on the hike and
not on worrying if the pack will hold up. The hip belt can pivot to make
it more comfortable and fit better while I run. It is a little larger
than I need but it compresses very nicely. I've run with it several
times and I already love it. It fits like a glove, sometimes I forget
that I am even wearing it. It even has a spoon holder on it so I don't
have to make one out of duct tape...this pack rocks...!!! Thanks Matthew,
you are the pack creating man...!!!
